These stylish 1950s steel vintage stacking chairs are a new addition to our extensive range of vintage furniture,  these original vintage stacking chairs feature a curved and upholstered red back support with matching seat. They would make an original retro statement in any vintage home interior, restaurant or bistro. The chairs conveniently stack away which is ideal if you need to save space.

They are in good condition for their age, however there is some general wear and tear to the paintwork. We do feel that this adds to their character!

Unfortunately, some of the small plastic caps on the legs are missing, but these can be purchased over the internet if you wish to replace them.

This teak sofa bed by Greaves and Thomas dates from the 1960s. It is in fabulous condition for its’ age. This teak sofa bed is upholstered in a faux cream leatherette material which would blend with all interiors. Originally this sofa bed would have been covered in a fur material.

As this sofa converts into a bed if required, it is a very useful addition to any home. A classic vintage piece which is in outstanding condition for its age.

Teak furniture in Scandinavian styles was extremely popular through the 1960s and by the end of the 60s became the choice of the majority of the population. Today there has been a resurgence in retro furniture, this authentic sofa bed would add charm to any vintage interior.

An original 1920s fire cart with wooden frame and authentic cast iron wheels. We believe this table is constructed from pitch pine. It would make a beautiful feature in any kitchen restaurant or dining area. Included with this fire cart table are two original buckets and fireman’s helmet (which we believe dates after 1920s)

A really original table, perfect for any vintage or industrial interior. As the height of this table is slightly higher than normal it would make a wonderful kitchen island or counter.

Vintage bench with curved ebonized ash wooden slats and tubular steel frame. A wonderful opportunity to acquire an original vintage bench dating from 1960’s. We have seven of these benches available (all the same size). A very sturdy and comfortable bench which could be placed either inside or outside.

The vintage industrial style is novel as it is easy to mix with both contemporary and traditional styles. It can look good with brickwork, timber and metal. Its is very popular to furnish our homes and businesses with recycled furniture. The quality is excellent and this bench could offer many many more years of trusty service.

These extremely robust benches were originally from the British Science Museum and break down for transportation purposes. All the benches do have marks and show signs of wear and tear but have no serious damage and are in excellent condition for their age.

Vintage bench details:

An industrial dining table with a difference. The top of this table is a reclaimed ice board, the natural bleached weathered finish blends beautifully with the painted base. Each top is 2” thick and finished with original galvanized edge strips. The base of this industrial dining table is made of pine and can be painted in any ‘Farrow & Ball’ colour to match your interior. As the boards are reclaimed the size below is the only size available. We do have a matching industrial sideboard which teams wonderfully with this table (this can be seen in some of the photographs).

This item recently removed from a large bakery has eighteen pine drawers fitted within a stainless steel frame, each drawer is the full width of the island allowing plenty of storage . Perfect for any large kitchen or industrial interior. The frame stands upon castors which enables it to be moved if necessary (a real advantage), and has a top quality stainless steel top, perfect for all types of uses and very easy to keep clean. Stainless steel has made a real comeback recently, not surprisingly due to the ease of keeping everything hygienic within food preparation areas. In remarkable condition for its age this stainless steel kitchen island would be a real focal point in any home or business.

A truly rare find; this original industrial cabinet which we believe dates from the 1950’s was once used in a garage as a repair station for tyres for motorbikes and cars. All original this vintage cabinet has two cupboards for storage and would look fabulous in any interior with an industrial theme.

The paint has become chipped but this only adds to its authentic charm. On the back rest there are hooks which once housed the tools needed for the job of tyre repair; the tools are outlined but sadly these have been lost over the years. (These would be purchasable from other websites)

Made of metal and it has a top section which lifts up to reveal a multitude of shelves, there are more shelves to the base of the cabinet finished with 2 doors. This piece which dates to circa 1950 still retains it’s original grey finish and although shows signs of wear and tear is still in good condition.
