Canvas seat stacking chair. A fabulous original stacking chair with tubular frame and canvas seat.

As all of these chairs are original vintage retro chairs, the condition of each one does vary, however they are all in a strong, sturdy and fabulous sitting condition. Each chair is constructed from a metal frame and dates anything from the 1950’s, the tubular steel frames are painted and the seats and backs are canvas.

There are various surface scratches on the frames as you would imagine from chairs up to 60 years old. They do not jeopardize the chair in any way. They are all checked over and cleaned before delivery. Our original and vintage old school chairs are not new or made to look old. They may have small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use. These marks add to their character and appeal

These extremely comfortable hessian padded upholstered stacking chairs feature a quilted design, and are ideal for restaurant, cafe or private use. These chairs are all fire regulated so are able to be used in restaurants, cafes, bistros etc.

These old vintage stacking chairs are made by ‘nest a bye’. Authentic old vintage stacking chairs were originally seen in very large quantities from the 1950’s and 1960’s in hospitals, schools, community centres and church halls. Due to their stacking capabilities, they were extremely useful as they took up far less room when stored away.

These old vintage stacking chairs have gold coloured frames which complement the plywood seat beautifully.

All in good condition, these chairs would be perfect for any home, club, restaurant or cafe for a truly vintage industrial style.
